Happy 4th of July 2023

8 months old!!

8 months old (last week 🥰) this month Owen learned to pull up and stand with assistance, scooting/rocking while in crawling position and sits well unsupported now! He has 8 teeth and now that his teeth are through and he sleeping better during the night. Only waking 1-2 times. He is in 12-18 months clothes. Now that he is on the move more his chunky thighs are slimming down. He is eating more solid foods (had pancakes for the first time while camping). Daddy built a swing set because it's Owens favorite ❤️ His eczema is flaring back up on the back of his right arm. Owen is clapping more on demand, saying mama/dada all the time! His favorite food is the sweet potato teething wafers. We had a rough last month of nursing while teething but now we are back at it good. He is still nursing about every 4-5 hours instead of every 3 since more solid foods are being introduced. He is starting to have separation anxiety and is definitely a Mommy's boy!! 💙

7 months old! Clearly this is getting difficult 😂 This past month his two front teeth popped through! Now that his teeth are through he is sleeping better through the night (wakes 1-2 times to nurse back to sleep). Started sitting up on his own, rolls everywhere and started grasping/pinching to feed himself puffs. He eats baby food purée at lunch and dinner and still has same nursing routine. Close to 20lbs, size 4 diapers, size 2/3 shoes, 12-18 month clothes.

Mama Mia, Papa Pia… It's seems impossible that you've been gone from this world earthside for 9 years. I know you already know this, but Owen looks like a Baker 🙌🏻 He has your ears and hair that sticks straight up! I hope we make you proud Dad 😇 I love you a bushel and a peck 🥰

I'm 6months old!!

6 months old!! This little babe is eating some solid/purées at night and puffs, still nursing like a champ, almost 20 lbs, has two teeth, starting to make D and M sounds, 9-12 month (some 18 month) clothes, size 3 (almost 4) diapers, loves bathtime, sleeping in his crib in his room with wedge and weighted sleep sac (waking 1-2 times to nurse and other times to fuss for paci), tear ducts still clogged (left eye is worse), and his skin is super clear with our cleansing and lotion routine!
